Five-star quarterback Jared Curtis’ NIL deal at Vanderbilt reportedly includes a role in a Hollywood movie.
Comedian and Commodores superfan Nate Bargatze cast Curtis in his new movie, “The Breadwinner,” according to a report from OutKick. Curtis appears in the film wearing a Vanderbilt baseball cap in a scene where he is shopping for a car.
Bargatze made his unique pitch to Curtis live on ESPN’s “College GameDay” last season.
In December, Curtis flipped his commitment from Georgia to sign with his hometown Commodores and become the highest-rated recruit in program history.
Curtis was the No. 4 overall prospect and No. 2 quarterback in the 247 Sports composite’s Class of 2026 rankings. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound signal-caller played at Nashville Christian, throwing for nearly 10,000 yards and rushing for more than 2,000 as a four-year starter.
