The Minnesota Twins reinstated third baseman Royce Lewis from the 10-day injured list on Monday after he missed 15 games with a hamstring strain.

He sat out the team’s first 35 games of the season with the same injury.

Lewis, 26, is batting .202 with two home runs and nine RBIs in 30 games for Minnesota. However, in his 10 games in June, he hit .367 with one home run and six RBIs.

The first overall pick in the 2017 MLB Draft, Lewis’ career has been beset by injuries, including two torn anterior cruciate ligaments.

He made three appearances in a rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul, finishing 0-for-8 with one walk and two strikeouts.

The Twins already had made the corresponding move, designating infielder Jonah Bride for assignment on Sunday. Minnesota acquired him in a trade with the Miami Marlins on April 16, and he hit .208 with three RBIs in 33 games.
